The need for effective and adaptive technologies carbon dioxide (CO2) mitigation targeting global net-zero emissions is critically growing. Hence, innovative CO2 reduction have attracted worldwide interest from scientific research communities. use of liquid metals the conversion into or solid carbonaceous products has gained increasing attention in recent years due to their high activity resistance coking. Here, a facile approach using Mg at near room temperature, atmospheric pressure presented. In this process, magnesium (Mg) plays major role driving dissociation its elemental constituents, oxygen. During reaction ions dissolve gallium (Ga) metal alloy, diffuse gas–liquid interface, reduce while undergoing an oxidation reaction. electrochemical method ensures sustainable cyclic process by reducing Ga back metallic counterpart. alloys reactions can enable achieve capture storage setting new foundation future exploration efficient issues.
